Terms and conditions
The agreement between you and Rise when you use this website or ask us to arrange a consultation.
Last updated 12 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you visit riseforman.com, message us on WhatsApp, ask us to arrange a consultation, or order medicine through us. By using the site or contacting us you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
In these terms, Rise, we and us refer to the operator of riseforman.com. You and your refer to the person using the site or the service.
These terms are governed by Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999, the Contracts Act 1950 and the Electronic Commerce Act 2006 where they apply to you.
2. Who can use the service
- You must be at least eighteen years old.
- You must be in Malaysia, and the service is intended for people who can receive delivery within Malaysia.
- You must use the service for yourself. You may not request a consultation or medicine on behalf of another person.
- You must give accurate and complete information about your health. A doctor relies on what you tell them, and incomplete information can make treatment unsafe.
3. What Rise is, and what it is not
Rise is a men's health service that helps you reach a registered doctor for an online consultation and, where a doctor issues a prescription, arranges supply and delivery of the medicine.
Rise is not a clinic and does not practise medicine. The consultation is carried out by a licensed telemedicine provider and by doctors registered with the Malaysian Medical Council. The clinical decision is theirs alone, and they are responsible for their own advice, diagnosis and prescription.
Dispensing is carried out by a licensed pharmacy or dispensing facility, which is responsible for the supply of the medicine.
4. This website is not medical advice
The information on this site is general health information for education only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation or a promise of a particular outcome, and it is not a substitute for a consultation.
Never delay seeking medical help because of something you read here. If you have chest pain, fainting, a sudden loss of vision or hearing, an erection lasting more than four hours, an inability to pass urine, blood in your urine, or any other urgent symptom, go to the nearest emergency department or call 999 immediately. This service is not for emergencies.
5. Consultations
- A consultation does not guarantee a prescription. A doctor may decide that treatment is not suitable for you, or may ask for tests or an in person examination first.
- A doctor may refuse to prescribe, may prescribe something different from what you expected, or may refer you to another service. That decision is clinical and final.
- You must tell the doctor about your medical conditions, your current medicines and supplements, and any allergies. Certain medicines, in particular nitrates for chest pain, can be dangerous when combined with treatment for erectile dysfunction.
- An online consultation has limits. Some conditions cannot be assessed safely without a physical examination.
6. Medicines, orders and delivery
- Prescription medicines are supplied only after a consultation and a valid prescription issued by a registered doctor.
- Prices are shown in Malaysian ringgit and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time, but a change does not affect an order already accepted.
- An order is accepted once payment is confirmed and a prescription has been issued. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund any amount you have paid for it.
- Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by the courier, weather, public holidays or events outside our control are not our responsibility, although we will help you follow them up.
- Orders are delivered in plain packaging with no reference to the medicine or the condition on the outside.
- You must not resell, share or give your medicine to anyone else. A prescription is issued for you alone.
7. Returns, cancellations and refunds
You can cancel an order at any time before it is dispensed, and we will refund it in full.
For safety and legal reasons, medicine cannot be returned or resold once it has been dispensed and dispatched, so a dispensed order cannot be cancelled or refunded except in the cases below. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
- The item delivered is not what was prescribed.
- The item arrives damaged, opened or past its expiry date.
- The order does not arrive.
8. Payment
Payment is handled by third party payment providers under their own terms. We do not store your full card details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.
If a payment is reversed or charged back without a valid reason, we may suspend the service to you and recover the amount owed.
9. Contacting us on WhatsApp
WhatsApp is a convenient way to ask about the service. It is not a consultation, no doctor is present in that conversation, and nothing said there is medical advice.
Please do not send detailed medical information, images of your body, or identity documents over WhatsApp. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own terms, and messages pass through its systems.
10. How you may use the site
- Do not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or interfere with its operation or security.
- Do not copy, scrape, republish or use our content or brand for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- Do not submit false information, impersonate another person, or use the service to obtain medicine for someone else.
- We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we believe your use is unsafe or unlawful.
11. Our content
The Rise name, logo, text, photographs, illustrations and page design are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by Malaysian copyright and trade mark law. You may read and share links to our pages, but you may not reproduce our content elsewhere without permission.
Product images on this site are illustrative and may not match the exact appearance of what is dispensed to you.
12. Third party services and links
The site links to services we do not control, including the telemedicine provider that carries out consultations, payment providers, couriers and WhatsApp. When you use them, their own terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their content or their acts.
13. Availability of the site
We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free or continuously up to date. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site or the service at any time.
14. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Malaysian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for clinical decisions made by the treating doctor, for the dispensing carried out by the pharmacy, or for loss that we could not reasonably have foreseen, including lost income, lost data or loss caused by your failure to give accurate health information.
Where our liability can be limited by law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the order or consultation the claim relates to.
15. Your personal data
We handle your personal data and your health information as described in our privacy policy. Health information is sensitive personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and is processed with your consent. For any privacy request, including deletion of your records, write to dpo_malaysia@riseforman.com.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, our partners or the law changes. The version in force is the one published here, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. This version was last updated on 12 September 2026.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If your complaint concerns clinical care, it may also be raised with the treating clinic or with the Malaysian Medical Council. A consumer claim may be brought before the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia where it falls within that tribunal's jurisdiction.
